Owner Perre Neilan has over 27 years of experience in government affairs at various levels and in different roles. After serving as a Field Representative on a U.S. Senate campaign, he became a Legislative Aide to a Nebraska State Senator, eventually rising to the position of Chairman of a powerful committee and then Speaker. Perre later served as the Government Affairs Director for an influential statewide association and Deputy Chief of Staff focused on legislative issues for the Nebraska Attorney General. He then became the Executive Director of the Nebraska Republican Party. Before founding Neilan Strategy Group, he managed State Government Relations for a Forbes-ranked, Omaha-based company.

Perre, a four-year Regent Scholar, graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1994 with a dual major Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Communication Studies. He resides in Elkhorn with his wife Jenn and their children.

Jenn played a crucial role in starting the business, contributing valuable research and writing. After 25 years in healthcare, she joined the firm full-time, bringing her Master’s degree and exceptional research, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Known for her natural aptitude in client relations, organization, and follow-through, Jenn is an integral part of our team.

With political and legislative experience at both state and national levels, Caitlin began her career at the Nebraska Republican Party while obtaining her Political Science degree. Over seven years, she progressed from an intern to the Political Director. Caitlin then served as Legislative Aide to Nebraska State Senator Steve Halloran before joining Neilan Strategy Group. Post-legislature, she worked as the National Data Director for Ground Game Campaigns, focusing on grassroots elections and petition efforts nationwide.
